Volunteer / Spread Love

The mission of Platt Park Church is “helping people become passionate, devoted followers of Christ.” Our mission could also be summed up like this: Love God, Love others, Do something. That’s why one of our core practices is serving: putting the needs of others ahead of our own. We focus on serving together in our church, city and world.

1. Serving Our Community: We have a lot of opportunities to volunteer at the church. You could make coffee on Sunday mornings, serve communion, volunteer with the kids, or be a friendly face greeting people as they come in. 2. Serve Denver: We love our beautiful city of Denver and are passionate about caring for the people here. Platt Park Church partners with various ministries around Denver to help care for people in the city. One important subgroup of Serve Denver is the Immigrant Assistance Team. These members of our community work tirelessly to assist individuals and families who are new to the United States and Denver. You can volunteer to give household items, provide rides, or as logistical support. Find out more about how Platt Park Church is supporting the immigrant community.
3. Serving globally: Platt Park Church has several international partners who are ministering in various ways throughout the world. From providing needed medical equipment, to fundraising for students to go to college in Nepal, to building houses in underserved areas of Latin America, there are many ways for you to volunteer.
